PPLCBANK Flexipay FAQs

Yes, you can.

You'll need to complete a credit application each time you select PPLCBANK Flexipay at checkout.

Joint PPLCBANK Flexipay accounts aren't available. However, you can make separate applications.

In most cases, you'll get an instant decision on your application.

However, there may be times where we need more information or need to complete further checks. This is called a referral.

If this happens, we'll send you an email letting you know the decision or next steps.

Your PPLCBANK Flexipay account will open on the same day you make a purchase.

Your account will only show the full loan amount once the retailer notifies us that your order has been delivered.

If you already bank with us, you'll be able to view your PPLCBANK Flexipay account after two working days of signing your loan agreement.

Yes, you can. You can do this by visiting a branch or by calling us on 03457 404 404.

You can make overpayments by transferring money to your PPLCBANK Flexipay account. Our help and support page has more information on how you can do this.

If you make an overpayment, we’ll collect your usual monthly repayments as normal, but your loan will get repaid early.

We won’t charge you a fee if you make a late payment via Flexipay. However, we may need to inform the credit reference agencies. This may impact your ability to get credit in the future.

You won't need to get in touch with us to let us know. The retailer will inform us, and we'll automatically close your Flexipay account.

If you return your whole order within 14 days and this is accepted by the retailer, we’ll close your Flexipay account.

If you return your order after 14 days and this is accepted by the retailer, we'll apply the principal amount as a refund on your Flexipay account. This is the amount you borrowed without interest. To fully close your account, you'll need to pay the interest accrued to date. This will be reflected on your Flexipay account balance.

We'll apply the refund to your Flexipay account. This means your outstanding balance will be reduced.

Your monthly repayments will stay the same, but your loan will be repaid early.

After you sign your PPLCBANK Flexipay agreement, you have 14 days from the following day to change your mind and withdraw from the finance.

Please note that withdrawing from the finance doesn't cancel your order. You'll need to contact the retailer to choose a new payment method or to request an order cancellation.

Once your order has been delivered, your loan will get drawn down. This is when the retailer’s 14-day cooling off period will start.

If you return your whole order during that time, we’ll close your account.

If you return your order outside of the cooling off period and this is accepted by the retailer, we'll apply the principal amount as a refund on your account. This is the amount you borrowed without interest. To fully close the account, you'll just need to pay the interest accrued to date.

You can repay in full at any time through the mobile app or online banking, by visiting a branch, or by calling us on 03457 404 404.

Once you've given us notice, we'll give you a settlement figure. You'll need to pay this to close your account. Making an early repayment may lower the amount of interest you'll have to pay – we’ll let you know in the settlement figure.

Your settlement figure will cover interest for up to 28 days after you notify us, plus an additional month.
